The statement of illusion and illusion in the claim of those who alleged that the attribution of the book "Reply to the Heretics and the Jahmiyyah" to Imam Ahmad is among the illusions.
Author: Sheikh Omar Muhammad Al-Mashaqbah
Book: The statement of illusion and illusion in the claim of those who alleged that the attribution of the book "Reply to the Heretics and the Jahmiyyah" to Imam Ahmad is among the illusions.
This book is concerned with refuting the doubts and accusations made by some contemporaries regarding the authenticity of attributing the book "Reply to the Heretics and the Jahmiyyah" to Imam Ahmad. It addresses this issue in detail, demonstrating the weakness and absurdity of these accusations, and that they do not follow the accepted methods among scholars for criticizing the authenticity of books and narrations.
This book also aims to establish the attribution of the book to Imam Ahmad, including proofs and evidence indicating the correctness of the attribution, some of which may not be found in other books. Among the most important of these proofs is the agreement of what has been narrated about Imam Ahmad from books and issues with what is in the "Reply to the Heretics and the Jahmiyyah" regarding the fundamentals of the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah, and in the issues discussed by the Imam in the book, as well as in the style, method of reasoning, and rational argumentation.
Additionally, this book contains important discussions related to the methods and approaches relied upon by scholars in proving the attribution of books, articles, and issues to their rightful owners. It also covers how to study the chains of narration and judge them, explaining the types of narrations and how their authenticity is linked to the authenticity of the chains, the levels and types of chains, and how judgments differ based on the types of narrations, among other important topics found in this book.
