Al-Burhan in the proportionality of the chapters of the Qur'an

After: The book "Al-Burhan in the Correspondence of the Surahs of the Qur'an," authored by Imam Hafiz Ahmed bin Ibrahim bin Al-Zubayr Al-Thaqafi Al-Asimi Al-Gharnaouti (d. 708 AH), is one of the rare works written to reveal the secrets of the نظم (structure) and the appropriateness between the surahs of the Holy Qur'an. It is among the oldest and simplest of its kind, relied upon and trusted by more than a thousand scholars in this field, both past and present. When it became possible for me — with Allah’s help — to investigate it, the Islamic University of Imam Muhammad bin Saud took the initiative to publish it in its first edition in the year 1408 AH, thanks to the generous initiative and kind gesture of its then-director, His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki. May Allah bless his age and grant him abundant reward. Since this edition was internal and limited in number of copies, the book did not achieve the desired circulation and did not reach the hands of scholars and those interested in this aspect of research and students. The demand for it remained high. In pursuit of fulfilling these wishes and enabling scholars to benefit from this important book in its field, it was decided — with Allah’s help and success — to produce a second edition that corrects linguistic and printing errors, as well as deficiencies related to diacritical marks, formatting, and organization that appeared in the first edition. I ask Allah to grant the author great reward, and to write for everyone who contributed to its printing, publication, and dissemination good ending and a good outcome. He is capable of that.
