Mohammad Saleh Al-Dosari Introduction Praise be to Allah, we praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and the bad of our deeds. Whom Allah guides, there is no misleader for him, and whom He misguides, there is no guide for him. I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. And O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims. [Al-Imran] O mankind, fear your Lord who created you from a single soul and created from it its mate, and dispersed from both many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Surely, Allah is ever Watchful over you. [An-Nisa] O you who believe, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate conduct. He will amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly attained a great victory. [Al-Ahzab] After that: The Kaaba, the honored house of Allah, the center of the universe and its crown, the address of Islam and its dwelling, the symbol of faith and its core, is the Qibla of Muslims. To it, their souls long, their spirits yearn, and their hearts love. At it, tears are shed, supplications are answered, mercy descends, and the earth unites with the heavens. This ancient, simple house in its construction, devoid of all appearances of grandeur and outward adornment that people are accustomed to decorating their buildings with, has been granted by Allah with majesty and splendor through the awe and reverence it inspires in the eyes of people, and its sanctity and reverence in their hearts, and love and longing in their souls. No other building rivals it in its status and position in the hearts and minds of Muslims.
