Achievement Abu Ishaq Al-Huwaini
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
Introduction
All praise is due to Allah, we praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness.
We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our souls and from the bad deeds.
Whomever Allah guides, there is none to misguide him, and whomever He misguides, there is none to guide him.
I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims.
O mankind, fear your Lord who created you from a single soul and created from it its mate, and spread from both of them many men and women.
And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Surely, Allah is ever Watchful over you.
O you who believe, fear Allah and speak words of appropriate justice.
He will amend for you your deeds and forgive you your sins.
And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, then indeed he will have achieved a great victory.
Guidance
As for what follows, the most truthful speech is the Book of Allah – the Almighty – and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad (peace be upon him).
The worst affairs are the newly invented matters, and every innovation is an innovation, and every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Fire.
Then, as for what follows:
This is a rare part of my hadith, from the trustworthy and meticulous Imam Abu Abdul Rahman Ahmad ibn Shuaib Al-Nasali – may Allah have mercy on him.
I verified its original, made efforts to preserve its text, and presented its narrations with moderate grading.
I relied in its verification on the Al-Zahiriyah manuscript, which consists of eight pages (pages 238–246) from the collection number 30 in my private library.
And I ask Allah to forgive me by His mercy for my debt.
All praise is due to Allah, first and last, outward and inward.
He grants me His bounty, and I write it.
Abu Ishaq Al-Huwaini
