For example, Malik’s Muwatta is his madhhab that Allah’s followers and imitators adhere to, although he only narrated authentic hadith in it. Similarly, the Musnad of al-Shafi’i is based on his evidence from what he considered authentic from his narrations, and the Musnad of Abu Hanifa as well. As for Musnad Ahmad, it is broader and more comprehensive than all of that.
