Hussein Said Introduction Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah, and after: 1 - The message of the philosophy of the universal energy and Islam's stance towards it is a doctrinal critical study, which I supervised. I expected this study to be an introduction for those who want to study practices and beliefs related to the philosophy of universal energy; but the researcher concluded the introduction through the first chapter, where he clarified the meaning of universal energy, its reality, and its intellectual roots. Then he moved in the second chapter to explain the schools of the philosophy of universal energy, studying the school of cosmic existence, the school of the cosmic human, and the school of cosmic consciousness. 2 - The researcher did not limit himself to writing about the introduction and the schools; he also entered the third chapter to write about applications of universal energy. He discussed applications related to health and healing, writing about Reiki, Ayurveda, and macrobiotics. He also talked about applications related to supernatural human abilities, addressing telepathy, parapsychology, clairvoyance, and astral projection. Furthermore, he wrote about applications related to bringing benefits and warding off harms, discussing Feng Shui, energy bracelets, the law of attraction, focus, gratitude, and similar applications. 3 - The researcher did not only present terms and applications; he also critically examined all of this. He criticized beliefs such as the unity of existence, the divine spark within humans, the relativity of truths and values, and he critiqued associations that adopt these ideas: such as the Theosophical Society, the New Thought movement, and the movement of latent human abilities. He also criticized individuals promoting these ideas, such as Osho, Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer, David Hawkins, and Elizabeth Brown. **The philosophy of universal energy and Islam's stance towards it — a critical doctrinal study** I supervised this thesis as a master's project. It seems that Sheikh Hussein intended for his thesis to be two theses in one, as in reality, this is the case — it is two master's and doctoral theses at the same time. May Allah grant reward to the researcher, benefit from his work, and may prayers and peace be upon Muhammad and his family.
