Memoirs of Youssef Yassin in the journey of the Arab movement

Memoirs of Youssef Yassin in the Journey of the Arab Movement Author: Qasim Khalaf Al-Ruwais Publisher: Dahar Ahwa for Publishing Cover Type: Cardboard Publication Date: 2022 Second Edition I was keen to place in front of the memoirs a brief biography of Youssef Yassin, followed by a concise study of the memoirs in which I discussed the time and place of their recording, the reasons for recording them, the method used, their content, artistic description, and the reasons why their author stopped completing them. This was mainly derived from the indications in the text of the memoirs and what was inferred from their content in terms of benefits, in addition to information I obtained from sources in general and from his family members in particular. I concluded with an appendix containing some related photographs. I found that naming it (Memoirs of Youssef Yassin) is the most appropriate name, followed by a specific date for the period covered by the memoirs, which span from Youssef Yassin’s birth in 1896 AD to the year 1924 AD. I also saw fit to add a subtitle (in the Journey of the Arab Movement) because Youssef Yassin’s talks about his national struggle, the Arab movement, and its development are the core of the memoirs.
