Purpose: Simplify the issues of Hanbali jurisprudence in Al-Rawd Al-Murabbi in a modern style. Style: Focus on the approved opinions with refinement of expressions. Type: Jurisprudential approximation and explanation (Hanbali) Indeed, jurisprudence in religion is among the greatest sciences in value, the highest in status, and the most solid connection to divine revelation; because through it, the lawful and unlawful are known, the landmarks of the path are clarified, and guidance to the pleasure of Allah, Glorified and Exalted, is achieved. Over the centuries, Muslims have paid great attention to the jurisprudence of Sharia, producing distinguished works, organizing its issues, and perfecting its chapters; so that it becomes a light for people to be guided by, and a measure to refer back to in times of crises and incidents. Among the jurisprudential schools that have served this religion and documented this knowledge is the school of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, may Allah have mercy on him, which is known for thorough investigation, reliance on texts and traditions, and good combination of narration and understanding. His companions, students, and those who came after them transmitted this precious heritage, recording it in impressive collections, which are truly among the most valuable writings in Islamic jurisprudence. The book "Al-Rawd Al-Murabbi" by the distinguished scholar Imam Mansur bin Yunus Al-Bahuti (d. 1051 AH) was one of the most important books of the Hanbali school among later scholars. It was considered a main reference in its field, a strong fortress for its student, and the approved curriculum in most of our Sharia colleges in universities. Its clarity of expression and strong reasoning made it a trusted reference for judges, a guide for lawyers, a companion for students of knowledge, and an inexhaustible resource for researchers and scholars. Due to the importance of this book and its widespread use among students of knowledge, my soul was inclined to serve it and to contribute to it in a way that benefits its seekers. I sought the help of Allah in serving this book, and my heart was opened to serve it by producing a modern edition of "Al-Rawd Al-Murabbi" that preserves the authenticity of the text and its eloquence, while also considering modern methods of compilation and contemporary presentation styles. This makes it easier to fully understand and accurately grasp the issues of Al-Rawd in this book, thus meeting the aspirations of those interested in Al-Rawd Al-Murabbi, including judges, academics, legal professionals, and anyone connected to Hanbali jurisprudence. I have researched the works and projects that have been undertaken to serve this heritage of the Hanbalis, but I have not come across a project similar to this idea intended in this book. I named it: "The Creative Approximation of the Book Al-Rawd Al-Murabbi." My multiple goals for this work are: First: Contributing to the service of the Hanbali school and bringing Islamic knowledge closer to those interested in it. Second: Facilitating university students, considering that this book is still the curriculum in most Sharia colleges in our universities. Third: Approximating jurisprudence for graduates of systems and law colleges, to make it easier to encompass jurisprudence and to serve as a bridge between jurisprudence and law.
