The supporters of Imam Ahmad during the trial and those who remained steadfast with Imam Ahmad Prepared by: Dr. Haitham bin Qasim Al-Humairy Publisher: Dar Al-Saman Second Edition 1446 AH - 2025 AD Number of pages: 216 pages Praise be to Allah, who has, in every era, remnants of the people of knowledge after the prophets, calling those who have strayed to guidance, and enduring harm from them, reviving the dead with the Book of Allah, and enlightening the blind with the light of Allah. How many of Satan’s killed have they revived, and how many misguided and lost have they guided! They remove from the Book of Allah the distortions of the exaggerators, the false claims of the wrongdoers, and the misinterpretations of the ignorant. How beautiful their impact on people, and how ugly the impact of people on them. And blessings and peace be upon the one sent as a mercy to the worlds, and upon his family and companions all together. Before you, dear reader, are a few pages that contain great positions, for personalities whom Allah prepared to support Ahmad in his trial, through precious advice and impactful, beneficial words. These helped Ahmad to remain steadfast and resilient, to confront hardships and dangers in preserving the Sharia and the religion, and in supporting the Book and the Sunnah. I gathered these in this booklet to highlight these sincere positions, to show the good deeds of their owners, and to clarify their virtue after Allah’s virtue in strengthening, supporting, and aiding the Imam, tying his heart, and encouraging him—so that he may fulfill the trust he carried, and remain firm in the great trial he was tested with, along with providing solace to every person tested in his religion, steadfast in his methodology and creed. I found it appropriate to mention some of the Imam’s positions that demonstrate his great steadfastness and firmness during this trial, before I present the positions of these sincere supporters in supporting and strengthening the Imam. Thus, this treatise is divided into two sections: Section One: Chapters on Imam Ahmad’s steadfastness, in which I mention remarkable models of Ahmad’s resilience and firmness during the great affliction he endured. Section Two: The supporters of Ahmad, in which I narrate the positions of these honest people in strengthening and supporting Ahmad.
