Explanation of the Saudia rules

To proceed: In this book, we address an important science among the sciences that scholars have exerted effort to acquire, write, and record across all schools of thought, which is the science of the principles of jurisprudence. This science is among the most important sciences, and whoever masters the fundamentals of the principles of jurisprudence and a broad range of its branches will have his issues organized; he will understand it well, grasp it properly, and it will be a reason for him to develop a skill in jurisprudence. He will be able to relate issues to their counterparts, similarities, and examples, which helps him to organize many issues and saves him much time in tracking issues. Thus, he will have a skill in recognizing issues when they come to him in all branches of jurisprudence, and he will not need to track every issue. Rather, if he understands the fundamentals based on correct evidence, his statements and fatwas will be well-organized. This does not mean that every issue is included under a rule mentioned by scholars; rather, there are exceptions, and many issues may have been derived from other evidence or based on weak evidence or incorrect reasoning. Our book is a commentary on the comprehensive rules and principles, authored by the virtuous Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Nasser Al-Saadi - may Allah have mercy on him. This book is very simplified and easy to understand, with clear expressions.
