Introduction to the second edition
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
Introduction to the second edition —
Praise be to Allah, who knows what is in the heavens and what is on the earth, no secret conversation of three is but He is their fourth, nor of five but He is their sixth, nor less than that nor more except that He is with them wherever they are, then He will inform them of what they did on the Day of Resurrection. Indeed, Allah is Knowing of all things.
And I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, who knows the treachery of the eyes and what the breasts conceal. And I bear witness that our Prophet Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, whom Allah opened hearts for, which were veiled, ears that were deaf, and eyes that were blind. So Allah enlightened minds through him, and opened hearts through him. There is no good except that He guided us to it, and no evil but that He warned us against it, so we left on the clear truth, its night like its day. Only the doomed stray from it.
May Allah send His blessings and peace upon him whenever the pilgrimage is accepted, and the supplication is answered, and upon his family and companions.
As for what follows:
Indeed, whoever Allah intends good for, He grants him understanding of the religion. And whoever follows a path in seeking knowledge, Allah will facilitate for him a path to Paradise. The scholars are the heirs of the Prophets, and the Prophets did not leave dinars or dirhams as inheritance, but they left knowledge. Whoever takes it, takes a plentiful share. The deeds of the son of Adam cease at his death, and only three things remain: a righteous child who prays for him, or beneficial knowledge, or ongoing charity.
Allah, the Most High, has made easy the printing of the book "Al-Mansak Al-Muyassar" for pilgrims and those performing Umrah. Its first edition was exhausted several years ago. Allah granted me the ease to review this book, so I added what needed addition, presented what needed presentation, and corrected what needed correction. I loved that it be published in a single volume to preserve it better.
This edition is distinguished by the following:
1 - Correcting errors found in previous copies.
2 - Increasing the virtues of the ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, the conditions of sacrifice, the jurisprudence of slaughter, and the characteristics of Mecca.
This edition has been compiled into a single volume to better preserve the book. I ask Allah to benefit from this book: the writer, the reader, and the listener, and to make it among the sincere deeds for Him, and among the deeds that benefit after death. Indeed, He is capable of all things.
May Allah send His blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions.
