A masterpiece of the pure ones through the conduct of the pious

Authored by Dr. Ali Saad Al-Duwaihi In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Introduction Praise be to Allah, who guided His righteous servants to follow the path of salvation, and blessings and peace be upon the mercy-given and blessing-bestowed Muhammad ibn Abdullah, and upon his family and companions of high status and rank, and upon his followers with goodness, and those who support him. To proceed: Indeed, Allah, the Most Blessed and Most High, has chosen pious servants to walk the path of the prophets, and made them beacons for mankind, dispelling darkness from them with the light of insight and the purity of secrets, and blessing them in religion with love for following and hatred for innovation. They are committed to their Lord’s methodology, and follow the guidance of His Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Thus, they are worthy of having their qualities adorn the writings, and their behaviors perfume the compositions. These qualities and behaviors, which those righteous and pious servants have adorned themselves with, are a gift of faith, to be gifted with all love and loyalty to the pure and innocent, who elevated themselves above the depths of vice to the highest levels of virtue. Therefore, I have resolved—with Allah’s help, the Bestower—to author this book, which I named "The Gift of the Pure for the Behavior of the Pious." In it, I have briefly presented some of the great behaviors, in a manner similar to bullet points, without much elaboration, aiming to remind the wise of what they must adorn themselves with—namely, the conduct of the people of faith and the people of gnosis, the worshippers of Allah, who are pious and follow the Messenger of the Lord of the worlds, who have not been led astray by desires nor deviated by reckless paths.
