Explanation of the principles rules and the chapters' contracts (Pure)

The Sheikh, the scholar, Ibn Uthaymeen Introduction Indeed, praise be to Allah, we praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our souls and from the bad of our deeds. Whom Allah guides, there is no misguidance for him, and whom He misguides, there is no guidance for him. I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. Allah sent him with guidance and the religion of truth; he delivered the message, fulfilled the trust, advised the nation, and struggled in Allah’s cause with true jihad until certainty came to him. May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, his family, his companions, and those who follow them with goodness until the Day of Judgment. As for what follows: It was among the guidance of the esteemed scholar, our teacher, Muhammad bin Salih al-Uthaymeen — may Allah have mercy on him — to his students to pay attention to studying the roots of jurisprudence; because it is the correct way to methodology of evidence, the ability to deduce, precise consideration of issues, and relating details to general principles, and returning them to their sources from the Book, the Sunnah, consensus, and analogy. Among the books that his virtue, may Allah have mercy on him, chose in this field is the book: "The Principles of the Foundations and the Conclusive Passages" by the scholar Sufi al-Din ‘Abd al-Mu'min bin Kamil al-Din ‘Abd al-Haqq bin Shamil al-Baghdadi (may Allah envelop him with His vast mercy, His pleasure, and admit him into His spacious gardens). Explanation of the Principles of the Foundations and the Conclusive Passages This was part of the scientific courses that he — may Allah have mercy on him — used to hold during the summer vacations at his mosque in Unayzah. The culmination was the explanation of this book in the summer course held in the year 1420 AH, where he stopped at the statement of the author, may Allah have mercy on him, in the second chapter of the evidence: "As the prohibition of marriage of the slave woman due to the reason of the child's lineage." And in order to generalize the benefit; and in implementation of the rules, principles, and guidance that our sheikh — may Allah have mercy on him — established to produce his scholarly heritage; with Allah’s help and success, this explanation was prepared and made ready for printing and publication. We ask Allah the Most High to make this work purely for His noble face; beneficial to His servants, and that He reward our sheikh for Islam and the Muslims with the best reward, multiply his repentance and reward, and elevate his rank among the guided. Indeed, He is Hearing, Near, and Responding. And may Allah’s blessings and peace be upon His servant and Messenger, the Seal of the Prophets, the leader of the pious, and the master of the first and the last, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family, companions, and followers with goodness until the Day of Judgment.
