The pillars of Islam

Salih Muhammad Al-Midyan Introduction: Praise be to Allah alone, and peace and blessings be upon the chosen Prophet, and upon his family, companions, and those who follow their guidance. To proceed: Allah has honored us with this noble Sharia; which is the Sharia of Islam, that Allah made a strong structure, firmly rooted, encompassing all aspects of life, suitable for every time and place. Allah has explained through His Messenger Islam and its rulings, faith and law, from lawful and unlawful matters, morals and manners, acts of worship and transactions, rights and duties. He did not leave the unseen matters; He even mentioned the Day of Resurrection. When Allah completed this religion through His Messenger, He made it a witness on the Day of the Chosen One, Allah's approval for it to be a religion and a way of life for all humanity until the Earth and those on it inherit it. Allah said in the clear Qur'an: "This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as your religion." [Al-Ma'idah: 3] In this small, concise message titled "The Pillars of Islam," I aim to clarify these pillars with simple, brief words, avoiding tedious elaboration and incomplete brevity. Whoever achieves them in knowledge, action, and invitation, will have success in this world and the Hereafter. So be among those who attain that and are happy.
