The complete statement in the explanation of the discussions of the Quran and Sunnah from the book Al-Mustasfa

Authored by Prof. Dr. Ali Saad Al-Duwaihi Part of the introduction: The comprehensive statement in explaining the discussions of the Qur'an and Sunnah from the book Al-Mustasfa. I have named my aforementioned explanation: "The Comprehensive Clarification in Explaining the Discussions of the Qur'an and Sunnah from the book Al-Mustasfa." I do not claim perfection in what I have written and compiled, but it is an effort of the humble. If it is correct, then it is from Allah alone, and praise be to Him for His help, success, and guidance. And if there is any mistake, it is due to my excessive negligence and lack of knowledge. I ask Allah, the Great and Almighty, for forgiveness for slips and pardon for errors in everything that the tongue has stumbled over or the pen has faltered in. My work in explaining the discussions of the Noble Qur'an and the Pure Sunnah from the book Al-Mustasfa is based on the following principles: 1. Comprehensively covering all the words of the author, may Allah have mercy on him, with explanation and clarification, without neglecting any of those words. 2. Placing the text of the author, may Allah have mercy on him, between parentheses, writing it in red ink to distinguish it from the explanation, then following it with the word "i.e." or similar to indicate the start of the explanation. 3. Correcting the necessary words with tashkeel (diacritical marks) to ensure correct reading according to the proper pronunciation. 4. Being concise in the explanation as much as possible, so that the meaning becomes clear without excessive elaboration and verbosity. 5. Limiting myself solely to all the issues presented by the author. 6. Notifying about what necessitates emphasis in the context, from what is found in the words of the author, may Allah have mercy on him. 7. Paying attention to illustrative examples when the situation calls for that, to make the matter clearer to the mind. 8. Relying on authentic references to verify the issues in the text and explanation, and mentioning only the name of the book and page number in the margin. 9. Attributing the Noble Qur'anic verses mentioned in the text and explanation to their places in the Surahs of Allah's Book. 10. Extracting the Hadiths mentioned by the author, may Allah have mercy on him, or those found in the explanation, with clarification of their ruling, especially if they are not in Al-Bukhari and Muslim or one of them. 11. Translating the notable figures mentioned in the text and explanation with a brief note about each scholar, mentioning their name, date of birth and death, and referencing some of their works. 12. Creating comprehensive indexes at the end of the explanation for Qur'anic verses, Prophetic Hadiths, narrated sayings, notable figures, and references, providing complete data about each source. In conclusion, I beseech the King, the All-Knowing, to make this explanation beneficial, a useful knowledge for its author and reader, and to make it a cause for acceptance and nearness to Him. May He make it an evidence for us, not against us. He is, indeed, the Owner of that and capable of it. And He is sufficient for me, and the best disposer of affairs. There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the All-Knowing, the Great. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, companions, and followers, with goodness until the Day of Judgment.
