Prepared by Mohamed Afifi Presented by Sheikh Dr. Saeed bin Musfir The Virtues of the Word of Tawhid Introduction All praise be to Allah, we praise Him, seek His help, ask for His forgiveness, and rely on Him. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and the bad of our deeds. Whoever Allah guides, there is none to misguide him, and whoever He misguides, there is none to guide him. I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, the One, the Unique, the Self-Sufficient, who did not beget nor was He begotten, and there is none comparable to Him. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. He sent him as a glad tiding and a warner. May peace and blessings be upon him, his family, and his companions. As for what follows: Islamic creed is the foundation of religion, and religion is not correct except with it. It is the origin of the religion, and the word of Tawhid is the foundation of the creed. It is the word of Islam, the title of Tawhid, on which the religion was established and founded. It is for this reason that Allah created creation, sent messengers, legislated laws, and revealed scriptures. It is the cause of happiness in this world and the Hereafter if one adheres to the path of truth in it and what it requires—without extremism or excess. However, this requires clarifying its noble features, great meanings, noble goals, and praiseworthy virtues. Therefore, I wanted to participate in this great construction and lofty edifice, even with a brief explanation of the word of Tawhid, hoping that Allah will seal us and you with it. This message [The Virtues of the Word of Tawhid — its meaning, its pillars, its conditions, its virtues, our obligation towards it]. I ask Allah the Almighty to accept this humble effort from me. He is capable of all things. Your brother, Abu Osama Mohamed El-Sayed Afifi
