Product description

It was classified by the esteemed and verified Imam Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyya, verified and its hadiths extracted by Ali bin Hassan bin Ali Abdul Hamid. Second edition, thirteenth print, 1447 AH. Preface by the verification. Praise be to Allah, the rightful praise, and blessings and peace be upon His Prophet and His servant, and upon his family and companions and his delegation. After: The book "Al-Da' and Al-Dawaa" by the eminent scholar Imam Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jawziyya (may Allah have mercy on him) is one of the most important and greatest writings in the field of morals, education, and purification of the souls: You see him talking about supplication, its importance, the need for it, and its relation to fate. And you see him talking about sins, their harms, and their evil, then he prolongs in that very much. May Allah have mercy. And you see him discussing legal and divine punishments, the heart and physical, worldly and hereafter. And you see him talking about shirk and its types in worship, in actions, in sayings, in intentions, and in Niyyah (intentions), then shirk of the Christians and shirk of those who take intermediaries and intercessors. And you see him talking about major sins and their corruptions, mentioning oppression, killing, fornication... And you see him discussing the entrances to sins; from thoughts, utterances, and steps... And you see him talking about sodomy, bestiality, the degrees of love, and the corruptions of loving images... and much more, which he elaborated on, extensively mentioning its scientific facts, truths, and clarifying the self-accountability and monitoring that the student of knowledge cannot do without. The book has been printed many times before: the first was in 1282 AH in Egypt, then another edition also in Egypt in 1346 AH. Both editions were titled "The Sufficient Answer for Whoever Asked About the Healing Cure." Later, it was printed in Egypt in 1377 AH under the title "Al-Da' and Al-Dawaa," edited by Professor Muhyi al-Din Abdul Hamid. And the author, may Allah have mercy on him, did not name it with either of these titles in the preface of his book. Both names were given to one title, which is a response to a question posed to him, and the suitability of each name is obvious, but "Al-Da' and Al-Dawaa" makes it more apparent. This is confirmed by most of the translators of the author, Allah, who mentioned him as "Al-Da' and Al-Dawaa," such as Al-Hafiz Ibn Rajab in the footnotes of "Tabaqat al-Hanabilah" (450/2), and Ibn al-Imad in "Al-Shadarat" (169/6), and Al-Shawkani in "Al-Badr Al-Tali'" (144/2). Many authors—old and modern—mistakenly considered this book as two separate books with these names! Such as Hajji Khalifa in "Kashf al-Zunun" (728/1 and 1417), and Al-Nadwi in "Rijal al-Fikr wal-Da'wah" (p. 319), among others. I have verified the book (1), commented on it, and extracted its hadiths, and I believe—God willing—that I have presented in it what distinguishes it from previous prints, especially those mentioned as being verified and extracted, disregarding their critique or review. Our last supplication is praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Written by Ali bin Hassan Abu al-Harith al-Halabi al-Athari, 24th Rabi' al-Thani 1416 AH, Second edition, 11th print, 1446 AH.
