The Ultimate End in the Classes of the Reciters 1-2 Ibn al-Jazari. Verification: Dr. Ali Muhammad Omar. Khanji Library. Volume 1: 1431 AH - 2010 AD. Two volumes.
In the introduction of the book, he said: This is the book "The Ultimate End." Whoever obtains it, I hope it combines both narration and understanding.
I summarized in it the book "The Classes of the Great Reciters," which I named: "The End of the Understandings in the Names of the Men of the Readings."
And I covered all that is in the book of the Hafiz Abu Amr al-Dani and Abu Abdullah al-Dhahabi, may Allah have mercy on them, and I added about twice as much.
What was in the book of al-Dhahabi I wrote in red, and what I added, I wrote his name and his father's name in red as well.
Then I indicated what is well-known in the books of the readings, so when it was mentioned in my book "Al-Nashr" ("N"), and in the book "Al-Taysir" ("T"), and the "Jami' al-Bayan" in the readings by Abu Amr al-Dani, and the "Kamil" in the ten readings and the forty additional ones by Abu al-Qasim al-Hadli, and the "Mubajj" in the eight readings, and the readings of al-A'mash, Ibn Muhayyan, and the choice of Khalaf and al-Yazidi, and the "Mustanir" in the ten readings, and the "Kifaya al-Kubra" in the ten readings by al-Qalanisi, and the "Ultimate Conciseness" in the readings of the ten by Abu al-'Alaa.
Ibn Hajar praised this book, and he said in his biography of Ibn al-Jazari: "He reached the leadership of the science of the readings in the kingdoms, and his care for the readings was greater, so he compiled the appendix of the classes of the reciters by al-Dhahabi and excelled in it..."
Likewise, al-Sakhawi praised Ibn al-Jazari with a fragrant praise, and gave a lengthy biography of him, mentioning his teachers in various sciences, and that more than one authorized him for fatwa, teaching, and recitation.
He was appointed as the head of recitation in al-Adiliyyah, then the head of the Dar al-Hadith al-Ashrafiyyah...
He also mentioned his travels to different countries, and included some of his news from those trips...
Then he mentioned his writings and described them as beneficial, and among his works he listed: "The Classes of the Reciters," which is the original "Ultimate End."
