Theology of faith Ahmed Muhammad Al-Adami Investigation of the ruler Al-Fuhayd Al-Dosri Part of the introduction of my work in the investigation of the book: Indeed, publishing any book relying on a single poor original — as is the case in our book — requires more scrutiny, documentation, and much caution and prudence when presenting its text in the image that the publisher hopes to be as close as possible to what its author originally placed. Therefore, my work in this regard came as follows: 1 - Due to the uniqueness of the copy of the book, it was necessary to rely on the written original to clarify what was ambiguous and unclear; I considered it as a supplementary copy suitable for correcting many of the phrases of the Munawwar and fixing what the copier had mistaken and mixed up, and what the text had suffered from obliteration and deterioration, with consultation during correction and modification to ensure the text aligns with what is found in the accepted books of the school of thought. 2 - And it is a trivial matter that I copied the manuscript according to modern orthography, including punctuation marks and most of the words with diacritics, except where it was unnecessary, then I compared the copied text with the original for further verification and accuracy, and I included the original page numbers in the spine. 3 - And I pointed out what was mistaken and incorrect in the original in the commentary, with the correct version in the main text, and I ignored obvious errors due to their abundance so as not to burden the commentary with what is of no benefit, although I did point out some of them to gauge the copier’s knowledge, as I mentioned earlier. 4 - And I committed to alerting to any errors and distortions in the printed copy because it is circulated among people, so that my excuse in re-investigating and republishing the book is known. 5 - And I was keen to clarify the accepted position in the school of thought when it contradicts the choice of the Munawwar, and I committed to stating this in the commentary on the book, with reference in most cases to the trusted sources used for preference. 6 - And I explained the strange terms that appeared in the text of the book. 7 - And due to the exaggeration of the Munawwar in abbreviating his phrases, I worked to clarify his intended meaning in places that need explanation or a clear resolution.
