Muhammad Saleh Al-Munajjid said: The self-accountability of the believer is the way of the believers, the characteristic of the monotheists, and the sign of the humble. The believer is a God-fearing person, self-accounting, seeking forgiveness for his sins, knowing that the soul's danger is great, its disease severe, its cunning vast, and its evil widespread. Therefore, the servant should weigh himself before he is weighed, and hold himself accountable before he is held accountable, and adorn himself and prepare for the presentation before Allah. This book talks about acts of the heart such as sincerity, its meaning and fruits, and the signs of sincerity; piety and the stations of piety, and the qualities of the pious; reliance on Allah and its importance, as well as the importance of taking means; fear of Allah عز وجل; hope and the difference between hope and wishful thinking; contentment and the difference between contentment and patience; thanking Allah عز وجل and how to thank; patience and its types; self-accountability, its fruits, and its types; love and the signs indicating a servant's love for his Lord; piety, its true meaning, and examples of the piety of the righteous.
