Yasser Hassan Barhamy The Noble Quran Great stories carry noble goals reach us the admonition and lesson. The lives of the prophets and their journey of being assigned to prophethood and their continuation in delivering the message to their peoples are among the most important topics that the Noble Quran cares about and were topics for stories in the Quran. You find the stories of the Quran before us, Allah Almighty through it the leader, the values, the morals, and the wisdom that we must follow. You find in the story of the characters that attract all children and we learn from them that Allah surpasses everything and that Allah is not incapable of anything on earth or in the sky, and that Allah is the Protecting, the Capable. The story of the miracle of the Isra and Miraj journey. Therefore, stories are of great importance that make us keen to present these stories to our children, tell them, and discuss them with them so that they understand their message and adhere to what is in them of play and avoid what is forbidden. Allah Almighty said in His Noble Book: "Indeed, in their stories is a lesson for those of understanding. It is not a fabricated speech, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe." Surah Yusuf. And we will present in detail the story of the People of the Trench from the stories of the Noble Quran with a simple explanation for children to get to know the People of the Trench, tell the story of the brave boy, and derive lessons learned from the story of the People of the Trench. Who are the People of the Trench? Ibn Ishaq and Abu Salih from Ibn Abbas in the biography indicate that the People of the Trench are from Najrān, and Al-Dahhak said that the People of the Trench are a group of Christians who were in Yemen before the mission of the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, peace be upon him, by forty years. It was mentioned that the king of Yemen, Dhu Nuwas, who was fanatic about Judaism, called the Najrān Christians and burned them in the trench. Why is the story of the People of the Trench called that? The reason goes back to the story of the People of the Trench, named after the trench in which the fire was ignited and faith in the new religion was established there. What does the word "Akhdood" mean? The word "Akhdood" is a singular term, and its plural is "Akhdeed." The word "Akhdood" means a fissure or a carved groove in the earth, or a strong opening or a crack in the ground, especially on the surface, for example, (the floods created an Akhdood). And the grooves of the face, meaning wrinkles. Verses of Surah the People of the Trench The story of the People of the Trench is from the stories of the Noble Quran, and Allah, the Almighty, confirmed it. This story is in the verses of Surah Al-Buruj, in which Allah, the Glorious, swore by the collective of all creatures, to witness this great crime. In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate: "By the sky containing great towers - And the Day of Promises - And a witness and a witness to the fire - Woe to the makers of the trench - The fire full of fuel - When they sat around it - And they are witnesses to what they do to the believers - And they did not resent them except that they believed in Allah, the Almighty - To whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth - And Allah is Witness over all things - Indeed, those who persecuted the believers, men and women, then did not repent, for them is the punishment of Hell, and for them is the punishment of the Fire - Indeed, those who believed and did righteous deeds, for them are gardens beneath which rivers flow; that is the great success." And because we have verses from Surah Al-Buruj, the Muslims held fast to their religion and their faith, which angered the disbelievers, so they dug the earth and ignited fire inside it, and placed the believers who wanted it, so they were burned before the eyes of the disbelievers, who did not care about this horrible scene. Allah, the Most High, promised the disbelievers the recompense for what was rightfully due to the believers, their reward being Paradise, where they will abide forever.
