Taysir Al-Rahman in the summary of Tafsir Al-Qur'an 1-7 Authored by Dr. Suleiman bin Ibrahim Al-Lahham Introduction In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and prayers and peace be upon the most honorable of prophets and messengers, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions altogether. As for what follows: Since Allah has favored me and helped me to interpret the Noble Qur'an with an extensive tafsir that satisfies the curiosity of every seeker of knowledge and others, so that they may delve deeply and expand their understanding of much of what the Qur'an contains—of sciences, guidance, benefits, rulings, and others— He inspired me to refine this tafsir into a concise version that is closer to being accessible, while preserving the spirit of the tafsir and summarizing the scientific and educational guidance it contains as much as possible. The main purpose of interpreting the Qur'an is to teach all Muslims these guidances so that they may adopt them as a methodology and conduct in their lives and in their path to Allah. In this refinement, I have been keen to abbreviate the tafsir of some verses, phrases, and words as much as possible, especially those that have already been interpreted, with reliance on the most correct sayings if there are multiple in meaning, and other such matters. I have also omitted some of the referenced texts—such as verses, hadiths, sayings, poetry, and textual quotations from tafsir books and others—and shortened the explanations. Furthermore, I have aimed to include only some benefits and rulings derived from the tafsir, summarized without the obvious or repeatedly mentioned benefits, and similar matters. I have named this concise work: **Taysir Al-Rahman in the Summary of Tafsir Al-Qur'an**. And I ask Allah Almighty to benefit from these two books: **Tafsir** and **Tahzeeb (Refinement)**, and to grant all Muslims sincerity in speech and action. He is sufficient for us and the best disposer of affairs. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions altogether. The author
