--- About the book ---
Indeed, Allah the Most High sent Muhammad, peace be upon him, with guidance and the religion of truth during a period when prophets were absent, during which opinions deviated, desires diverged, and most people went astray from the truth and the path of the prophets. Therefore, responding to him was necessary, and guiding people to him was an obligatory duty, so that no one would have an excuse before Allah after this. Allah the Most High described Himself saying: {Does He who created not know, and He is the Subtle, the Aware} (Al-Mulk 14).
He - سبحانه - knows how difficult and painful it is to respond to the misguided caravans, and how intense and challenging it is to raise them on guidance. Wisdom and interest dictated that they be taken through education step by step, elevating them gradually to the level of guidance; until they reach the desired perfection and attain the oasis of happiness.
The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, carried out the call to Allah according to this Sunnah with wisdom and good admonition, leading people with the patience and prudence of a wise and patient leader, uprooting the roots of the most dangerous vices, and establishing the foundation of virtues that are most important. He did not rush matters before their time, nor delay progress towards what is easy, but guided the caravan according to what they could bear, until he achieved his goal within twenty-three years.
Thus, his guided nation was established, his pioneering state was built, his banner was raised, his word was heard, and the word of Allah became supreme. The word of those who disbelieved became the lowest.
