Small (pocket) supplications of the people of Sunni and Jama'a

The purpose of this book: that I present to you — O you who adhere to the Sunnah — a sound, authentic, comprehensive, and organized response on the meanings of supplications in one book. The purpose of this book: that I give a sufficient answer to some of what the Prophet used to say when he prolonged the supplication in the places of response until he reached his dawn until sunset, so it is impossible for these supplications not to be remembered or not to be narrated, and they are among the remembrance that Allah promised to preserve, and among the wisdoms that He commanded to convey. The purpose of this book: that I provide the worshiper and the seeker of knowledge with the authentic, correct material through which, and similar to it, our scholars used to supplicate their Lord in their private routines, eager, fearful, crying, and delighted, diligent and consistent. The purpose of this book: to help you bring your heart before your Lord while you are calling upon Him, and the means to achieve this is through categorizing and arranging the supplications as Al-Tiby usually arranged them in his supplication, so praise routines first, then sending blessings upon him second, then seeking forgiveness third, and so on... And through what is written before each routine, with the melody of the soul and the ink of sincerity in what we called “O Heart, Prepare,” which when the reader reads it, he cannot help but bring his heart — by Allah’s permission — with the words of the great routine that follow it, to bring them out from the depths of his heart, even if they are from the sight of the eye, and the repetition of the tongue and lips. And through the words of reminder that remind the reader of the greatness of the supplications he said after each routine, in what we called “Remember...,” so that his heart returns to them, until he finds healing and is never satisfied no matter how many times he repeats, then he moves on to the next routine with greater faith readiness and higher ascent, and so from ascent to ascent, and his Lord does not turn away from his heart.
