A Message in Calling to Allah
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
Introduction
Praise be to Allah, we praise Him, seek His help, ask for His forgiveness, and turn to Him in repentance. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and from the bad consequences of our deeds. Whomsoever Allah guides, there is none to misguide him; and whomsoever He misguides, there is none to guide him. I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. May Allah send blessings upon him, his family, his companions, and those who follow them with goodness until the Day of Judgment, and grant them peace and blessings.
Afterward:
Indeed, the position of calling to Allah the Most High is a great position and a high rank, because it is the position of the select of Allah’s creation among the noble messengers and their rightly guided successors, who succeeded them in knowledge of the truth, acting upon it, and calling to it. It is fitting that we give this position our efforts and strive in it with sincere devotion to Allah, following His Messenger Muhammad, so that our efforts may be praised and accepted.
These are words I have arranged in the following chapters:
First Virtue: On the obligation of calling to Allah and explaining its virtue.
(1) Our noble sheikh — may Allah have mercy on him — wrote this message on the occasion of his attendance at the International Conference for Guidance and the Preparation of Preachers, held at the Islamic University in Medina from 24 to 29 / Safar / 1397 AH.
Second Virtue: On the means of calling to Allah and how to do it.
Third Virtue: In the field of calling to Allah the Most High.
Fourth Chapter: What the caller should be like in terms of character and actions.
Fifth Virtue: On the reasons for the success of the call.
And Allah is the grantor of success.
