The curriculum in explaining Sahih Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj 8/1

To the front, Al-Nawawi, introduction of the publisher, praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. Praise be to Allah who bestowed blessings upon creation and adorned them with worldly life, and honored them with Islam as a religion, completing it for them and being pleased with it for them. Praise be to Allah who extended His mercy to all, so He did not withhold sustenance from anyone; some were tested, and some were afflicted, and He created Paradise and Hell, and the Hereafter is better for the pious. Praise be to Allah who honored Muhammad with prayer and peace, and distinguished him with the honor of message and prophethood, making him the seal of both among all His creation, and His mercy upon His creation through him, blessings of Allah be upon him and peace. He made him a guidance for the guided and a mercy for the worlds, so he conveyed the trust, and his words are a Sunnah, his actions are a Sunnah, and his approvals are a Sunnah. His Sunnah is a beacon that rises in its structure, illuminated by its light at noon and at night. A journey we began yesterday, a step we took while turning over sources and references, working in examination and research, but the soul was eager for the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, to be in the hands of readers and researchers, polished, refined, documented, and explained by scholars. So the structure rises, its roof is the sky, and its root is the earth. And here is the tree, its trunk has stood firm, and its stem is complete, and we have finished the six and nine, with praise and grace from Allah. And today, as this tree extends its branches, our book, "Al-Minhaj" in explaining Sahih Muslim, comes after "Ma'alim al-Sunan" and "Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi," to complete the drawing of the tree’s features in a unique balance and harmony. It is true that the tree is still in the growth stage, and the road to the fruit is not near today, but the benefits within it, from its great trunk, fragrant aroma, dewy branches, and shaded canopy, are beyond what you can look at without seeing the sprouts and shoots beneath it. To our dear continent, what we issue from works that magnify the Sunnah of our noble Messenger, peace be upon him, is nothing but a journey we undertake together with you, asking Allah, the Almighty, to reach our goals so that we preserve, protect, and nurture them. May Allah open our insight, understanding, reflection, and dissemination of its benefits. Then we will carry it to be passed on to generations after us, who are worthy of it, so they complete the path to generations after them, and so on, from generation to generation. I can only point here to the efforts of the dedicated brothers working tirelessly to produce the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, with the quality and scholarly and technical precision befitting it. May Allah reward them with goodness. And I hope that Allah, the Glorious, chooses me to spread His religion’s sciences in a manner pleasing to Him, grants me His strength, and protects me from all evil. He makes the ways easy for me to spread His sciences across the world. I pray that He accepts my work, that it be in the balance of my good deeds, forgives me for my bad deeds, and that my actions be a source of goodness, benefit, righteous supplication in unseen places, and ongoing charity until the Day of Judgment.
