The explanation of the hidden pearl in the states of the chains and the texts

To the esteemed Sheikh Dr. Abdul Karim Al-Khudair The word "institution" with the meaning of "Al-Ma'lam Al-Sunnah" Praise be to Allah, who elevated the people of knowledge with knowledge, chose them, and inherited them with the knowledge of the Book, and by Him, they were chosen. May Allah's peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his companions from their beginning to their end, and upon the followers and those who follow them with goodness until the Day of Judgment. As for what follows: It is not hidden from anyone the high status and noble position of scholars. They are the heirs of the prophets, the stars of the sky, the adornment of the world, and the pillars of religion. Abu al-Darda reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, say: "Whoever takes a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make easy for him a path to Paradise. And the angels lower their wings in satisfaction with the seeker of knowledge. And the seeker of knowledge is seeking forgiveness for him from those in the heavens and the earth, even the fish in the water. And the virtue of the scholar over the worshiper is like the moon over the other planets. Indeed, scholars are the heirs of the prophets. The prophets did not leave dinars or dirhams as inheritance; rather, they left knowledge. So whoever takes it has taken a great share." Among the scholars who dedicated their time to teaching and spreading knowledge is the virtuous scholar, the scholar Abdul Karim bin Abdullah Al-Khudair — may Allah preserve him and benefit us through him. He is known among the scholars and students for his mastery, broad knowledge, accurate investigation, and extensive insight. Allah granted the Sheikh long ago the ability to explain the books of the scholars in various sciences and to comment on them, providing beneficial explanations that are comprehensive. His explanations are enriched by his wide knowledge and understanding of the contents of the books — especially the lengthy ones — and the different editions, which made these explanations popular among students of knowledge of different levels. Also, Allah established the "Ma'lam Al-Sunnah" Foundation to serve and spread the knowledge of the Sheikh since its founding in 1433 AH, through various available means. And now — with Allah's help — it announces good news to students of knowledge and lovers of science: the printing of "Sharh Al-Lu'lu' Al-Maknun." It is worth noting that this book is not authored by the Sheikh, but rather a recorded audio explanation that has been transcribed, organized, and scientifically processed with the Sheikh’s permission. Due to the extreme difficulty of converting audio output into printed books, and sensing the responsibility entrusted to the foundation, and seeking perfection without pretense, the foundation has devised a renewed plan — approved by the Sheikh, may Allah preserve him — to produce high-quality books that satisfy, God willing, students of knowledge and lovers of science. The stages of work were as follows: First: Transcribing the audio explanation and matching it. Second: Arranging the explanation in accordance with the book, without altering the Sheikh’s words, and presenting any confusing issues to the Sheikh — may Allah preserve him. Third: Extracting hadiths and sayings, attributing opinions and schools to their owners, and providing scientific commentary on the book. Fourth: Linguistic review of the book to ensure the accuracy of the text and correct any grammatical or spelling errors that may occur during work. Fifth: Reviewing the book by a specialist in the subject of the explanation to verify the scientific accuracy after the work has been reviewed by researchers. Sixth: Approving the book for printing by the foundation’s scientific advisors. In this joyful occasion of printing this book, we thank the Sheikh — may Allah preserve him — for what he has presented and continues to present to students of knowledge. May Allah grant him great reward, multiply his reward, bless his knowledge, work, and life, and benefit Islam and Muslims with his knowledge. We also thank the working team at "Ma'lam Al-Sunnah" Foundation for their great effort in producing the book, and we thank the scientific advisors, the reviewers, and everyone who contributed and participated in producing the book. May Allah reward them all with goodness, and bless their efforts. Thanks are also extended to the pioneering institution: The Waqf of Saad and Abdulaziz Al-Mousa Foundation, for their keenness to spread Islamic knowledge by supporting the effort to produce this book. We ask Allah for success and guidance, and we call on all scholars and students of knowledge everywhere to offer advice and quickly provide observations and suggestions regarding any errors that may occur in the printed and upcoming explanations of the Sheikh. Indeed, a person benefits greatly from his brothers, and Allah is the One asked to bless efforts and accept them. All praise be to Allah, by whose blessings good deeds are completed, and prayers and peace be upon the noblest of prophets and messengers, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions altogether.
