Introduction by the virtue of Sheikh Muhammad bin Salih Al-Uthaymeen
Praise be to Allah, Lord of all worlds, and peace and blessings be upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, companions, and those who follow them with goodness until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows:
Indeed, the interpretation of our Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Nasser Al-Sa'di, may Allah have mercy on him, called "Taysir Al-Kareem Al-Rahman" in the interpretation of the words of "Al-Mannan," is one of the best interpretations because it has many features: including ease of expression and clarity, so that it is understood by the rooted in knowledge and those less than him.
Among its features is avoiding unnecessary verbosity and prolongation that only wastes the reader's time and confuses his mind. It also avoids mentioning disagreements unless the disagreement is strong and necessary to mention. This is an important feature for the reader so that his understanding remains firm on one thing.
It also follows the methodology of the Salaf in the verses of attributes, with no distortion or interpretation that contradicts Allah’s intent with His words. It is a main reference in establishing creed.
It also demonstrates precise deduction from the benefits, rulings, and wisdom that the verses indicate, which is clearly evident in some verses, such as the verse of ablution in Surah Al-Ma'idah, from which fifty rulings are deduced, and as in the story of David and Solomon in Surah Sad.
Furthermore, it is a book of interpretation and moral upbringing on virtuous manners, as is evident in the interpretation of Allah’s saying in Surah Al-A'raf: "Take forgiveness and enjoin good, and turn away from the ignorant."
For this reason, I advise every seeker of the books of Tafsir not to be without this valuable interpretation in his library.
I ask Allah, the Most Generous, to benefit from it its author and its reader.
May Allah send peace and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, companions, and those who follow them with goodness.
