And I found its author frequently benefiting from the work of Sheikh Abdul Qahir Al-Jurjani in his masterpiece: "Dala'il Al-I'jaz," and including in his table a good harvest from Jareer Allah Al-Zamakhshari’s "Kashshaf," and Fakhri Al-Razi’s "Nihayat Al-Ijaz," and Al-Baydawi’s "Misbah," and Ibn Abi Al-Izz’s "Tahrir Al-Tahbir," and Al-Tibi’s "Al-Bayan," and the explanation of Al-Kafiya Al-Badi’iyya by Saffi Al-Din Al-Hilli, and the "Key of the Key" by Al-Shirazi, and Ibn Hajja Al-Hamawi’s "Kanz Al-Adab," and the explanation of "Aqood Al-Juman" by Al-Suyuti. And the content of the book, in the arts of the three types of rhetoric, and the rational and aesthetic discussion of the issues it contains, and the refined, elegant Arabic of its author, led me to believe that it is among the reputable sources for a deep, comprehensive, scientific rhetorical study, and that it deserves effort and diligence in its scholarly, accurate, and thorough presentation, as much as possible.
