The insight of Ibn al-Jawzi

Al-Tabsira by Ibn al-Jawzi Al-Tabsira It is the most comprehensive book in the science of preaching, written by the Imam al-Hafiz Abdul Rahman Ibn al-Jawzi; in response to what some extremists used to spread of intimidation, terror, and urging to abandon the worldly life and leave working for it. The author arranged it in layers, with each layer having chapters and sections.. and he gathered in it what relates to the creed of monotheism and the pillars of Islam, their morals, manners, and organization of relationships.. and most importantly, he extracted the material of the book from the Quran and authentic Sunnah in most of the book.. As well, this rich book (Al-Tabsira) included masterpieces of Islamic poetry that express the view of life from the perspective of Islam.. and most of this poetry was not weak or flimsy.. but rather strong in its formulation, beautiful in its images.. and this poetry needs someone to study it critically; to reveal the true nature of Islamic literature and its essence.. It is a book that educates minds, awakens enthusiasm, and renews the covenant between the Muslim and his upright religion.
