Vocabulary of the reciters (1) single word Nafi' ibn Abdul Rahman Al-Madani

My father, Amr Al-Dani Research by Dr. Hatem Al-Damen Introduction Praise be to Allah, Lord of all worlds, and peace and blessings be upon the noblest of His creation, the trustworthy Prophet. Afterward; Allah, exalted be He, has blessed me with a copy of the manuscript of "Al-Mufradat Al-Sab’" by Abu Amr Al-Dani, who died in the year 444 AH. It was written in the precise handwriting of Sheikh Ali Muhammad Al-Dibaa, who died in 1380 AH. Due to the importance of these Mufradat, and their uniqueness in mentioning the minute details of the science of Qira’at for these seven Qurra and their narrators, I have resolved to verify and publish them among scholars, in service of this noble science. I have completed, with Allah’s success, the verification of these seven Mufradat, which will be issued in seven books, God willing. I am in a state that I do not envy, as the lowly wicked have occupied my homeland and inflicted it with calamities. Those who were killed, were martyred, and those who were displaced, were scattered. I spent four harsh years in Baghdad, under fire, and the situation worsened—no water, no electricity, no food. We left our homes forcibly and displaced, leaving our hearts and minds in Baghdad, may Allah protect it, out of sorrow for Baghdad, the city of peace, the capital of the world, and the fortress of knowledge and scholars. It is, my brothers in Allah, a burst of a dispelled spirit, and surely the dispelled must breathe out. Introduction Our Lord, help us and do not help against us, and grant us victory over those who oppress us. Indeed, You do not break Your promise. I ask Allah to preserve Iraq and its people, to unite their ranks, to unify their words, and to keep away the evil-doers from us. In a time when corruption has increased, hatred has flared, nations have perished, and people have become like cattle, indeed, You are the All-Hearing. And our last supplication is praise be to Allah, Lord of all worlds.
