The request of the best in counting the names of the Most Beautiful Names of Allah

Authorship Dr. Muhammad Saleh Al-Barrak Request for the best in listing the names of Allah, the Most Beautiful Introduction Praise be to Allah, who is exalted above resembling His creation and distinguished by His beautiful names, for He has no partner nor offspring. He commanded His servants to invoke Him with them, saying: "And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them" (Al-A'raf: 180). I bear witness that there is no deity but Him, who ascended the Throne, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger, the chosen Prophet and the beloved one, peace be upon him and his family and companions, the possessors of understanding and wisdom, and abundant peace and blessings. As for what follows: I have resolved to compile the names of Allah, the Most Beautiful, mentioned in the Book and the Sunnah, although scholars have gathered, benefited, written well, spoken extensively, and elaborated. Yet, something remains in my mind that they did not fully satisfy, and a matter circulates in my thoughts that they only mentioned separately in the depths of books. So I revived the idea of searching for it within their writings. I have examined most of what has been written about the names, both old and new, and found that it has gathered the trivial and the significant, filled with problematic issues, disagreements, and far-reaching branches, many of which are complicated. Therefore, I desired to compile a book in this field that is easy to approach, accessible, and beneficial for scholars, learners, those who have reached their limit, and seekers. It is free from disputes, pure from differences. I have included what I find to be the most likely opinions of scholars to maximize benefit and advantage. I based it on three chapters: The first chapter: Explains the Hadith of the ninety-nine. The second chapter: Mentions what has been established from the ninety-nine names. The third chapter: Mentions what has not been established from the names attributed to Allah, the Most High.
