Important data and fatwas issued by the Permanent Committee

Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and blessings and peace be upon the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and companions all together. To proceed: This is a collection of important fatwas and data issued by the Permanent Committee for Scientific Research and Ifta in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. We re-publish some of them after they were published in some media; for the benefit and advice of Muslims, and they are as follows: 1 - Fatwa on the invalidity of claims of the unity of religions. 2 - Clarification on warning against missionary methods. 3 - Clarification on the ruling of opening foreign schools in Muslim countries. 4 - Clarification in response to misleading advertisements about his issues - Fatwa clarifying the misguidance of the Al-Ahbash sect and warning against them and their followers. 6 - Fatwa clarifying the misguidance of the head of the Al-Ahbash sect. 7 - Fatwa on the prohibition of imitating and supporting disbelievers. 8 - Clarification on the ruling of civil marriage. 9 - Clarification on the difference between commercial insurance and cooperative insurance. 10 - Clarification regarding prayer times in the Umm al-Qura calendar. 11 - Fatwa on the innovated mosques in Medina. 12 - 13 - Fatwas and clarifications warning against some books calling for Al-’Ijjā’ (the theological position of postponing certain religious obligations). 14 - Fatwa on the invalidity of making Jeddah a Miqat for those coming from outside the Islamic homeland.
