The book "Al-Muharrar" in Hadith by Ibn Abdul Hadi Al-Hanbali, is one of the most important books classified in the Hadith of the Rules, and is considered one of the most important books of the Hanbali school evidence. The author selected it from the well-known books of the Sunnah; as he said in the introduction: As for what follows, "This is a summary that includes a number of prophetic hadiths regarding Islamic rulings, which I selected from the books of the renowned Imams and trusted preservers," such as the Musnad of Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal, the two Sahihs of Al-Bukhari and Muslim, the Sunan of Abu Dawood, Ibn Majah, Al-Nasa’i, and Jami’ of Abi Isa Tirmidhi, the Sahih of Abi Bakr bin Khuzaymah, and the Kitab of Anwa’ and Taqasim by Abu Hatim bin Hayan, and the Mustadrak of Al-Hakim Abi Abdullah Al-Naysaburi, and Al-Sunan Al-Kabir by Al-Bayhaqi, among other well-known books. He mentioned some authentic or weak hadiths, and discussed some of its narrators regarding criticism or praise. He strived in summarizing and editing its wording, arranging it according to the order of some jurists of our time to facilitate understanding, and what was agreed upon by Bukhari and Muslim is what is included in it. Sometimes he mentioned some of the sayings of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them all. May Allah make it beneficial for us through it, and for those who read, memorize, or review it, and make it purely for His noble face, pleasing Him, for He is capable of all things. And sufficient for us is Allah, and He is the best disposer of affairs.
