The Written Words🌺🌿 The written words of Al-Hamadhani 🌿🌺 By Abdul Rahman bin Isa bin Hammad Al-Hamadhani, may Allah have mercy on him, verification, review, and indexing: Omar Hafiz Salim Saeed Publisher: Al-Quds Publishing and Distribution Company First edition 2021 One volume, colored printing, very clear script on yellow paper Delivery available 🪴 About the book: ■ Al-Sahib bin Abbad said: If I had met Abdul Rahman bin Isa, the compiler of the book of words, I would have ordered his hand to be cut off. When asked the reason, he said: He collected the rich Arabic words in easy pages and then wasted them in the mouths of schoolboys. And he lifted from the educated the fatigue of lessons, much memorization, and constant reading. ■ Translation of Abdul Rahman Al-Hamadhani: He is Abdul Rahman bin Isa bin Hammad Al-Hamadhani, a writer of Bakr bin Abdul Aziz Abi Dulf Al-Ajali. He was a righteous and respected sheikh from old noble families. I found in the Dictionary of Authors that: He was an imam in language and grammar, with a good methodology, and a sound writer, a virtuous poet, and a writer of Abi Dulf Al-Ajali. He has few works of small size that are indispensable for the student of writing. Al-Hamadhani died in the year 327 AH after migration, and it was said otherwise, and Allah knows best. ■ This book, "The Written Words in Arabic Science" by Al-Hamadhani, is of great benefit, high status, and esteemed among writers. It has a profound impact on shaping the literary person, writer, and orator. It is a creative linguistic mind that reveals the personality of its linguistic and rhetorical author, and makes us stand before a world that teaches us first patience in seeking knowledge, then diligence and perseverance in gathering and acquiring it. This book is also a proof of the expansiveness of Arabic and its treasures and rich lexical wealth with various meanings. The reader, through it and similar books on style, draws from the sea of this language the sparkling waves of words and synonyms. Thus, his ideas, feelings, and sensations flow easily and skillfully from his tongue and pen, with the meaning revolving in his mind and consciousness, embodied in the most precise words that make him a vivid image before the viewers. The need for this book and similar works is urgent, especially after many have fallen into the mud of hateful colloquial language, and after ignorance has spread in our language, fought, and besieged by all languages. Literacy has become widespread, and God forbid, everyone is almost affected by it. The way out and salvation is to start correctly, drawing from the pure fountain of our language. The more we quench our thirst from it, the more words we add to our memory, elevating us to a high linguistic level through which we can express everything we want.
