This distinguished scholarly achievement is the result of a great collective effort supervised by Ibn Rahal Al-Madani Al-Tadlaoui, who died in 1140 AH. It is a scholarly tradition carried out by the most qualified scholars, and has a counterpart in the history of Islamic sciences. Dr. Ahmad Abadi explained that this book/encyclopedia "is considered a sign of the detailed directives of the state, as Mullah Ismail commissioned scholars, foremost among them Al-Madani, to compile the legal and advisory opinions according to the rules and principles of the Indian school." Even this distinguished jurisprudential work, which explains the Maliki Fiqh summary of Sheikh Khalil, and which Moroccans have taken great care of for its general benefit for both specialists and the public, can be considered the most extensive jurisprudential work in our glorious Maliki school, which should be recognized as a Moroccan Maliki excellence that is rare. To ensure the evaluation of this noble explanation of Sheikh Khalil’s summary, it is also a scientific treasury among the writings, comprising numerous works, annotations, exercises, footnotes, and legal clarifications, which are rarely found elsewhere. This highlights the richness of our Maliki school in dealing with contemporary issues, new developments, and changing contexts. It is a diligent effort that has continuously served as a beacon for scholars, fatwa, and judiciary in the Kingdom of Morocco, which has revived through the ages the veins of our Imam Malik ibn Anas, may Allah have mercy on him, and strengthened it with new knowledge that keeps pace with emerging local, African, and global issues.
