The poem (Jala' al-'Aynayn fi Bayan al-Dininayn: a poem that reached a great height of elevation, majesty, beauty, and elegance, and ascended in the ranks of perfection, and praiseworthy traits, a noble ascent; it is a poem that delights the heart of the aware reader with its recitation, and his soul longs to indulge in looking at its verses, and he enjoys hearing the impact of its letters and words) (1); it was authored by the eminent scholar and noble virtuous person, Hamed bin Muhammad bin Hassan bin Mohsen, may Allah have mercy on him, and he made all of it in explaining the two religions, for which Allah sent prophets to clarify and distinguish between them, and scholars and saints have chosen the path of following them.
These two religions are: - Monotheism of Allah, and its opposite, which is polytheism with Allah, the Most High.
This magnificent poem was composed by its author in 1251 AH, consisting of 1251 lines, arranged in a wonderful order, with varied meters and rhymes, creating a unique diversity. He made each line contain evidence from the two noble sources of Revelation: the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet, arising from the meanings of Muhammad (2).
(1) Due to some lack of experience in poetry composition, and repeated mistakes in certain sciences of language, these will be clarified in the introduction - God willing.
(2) See lines: 1246, 1247.
