Authored by Muhammad Al-Qasim Al-Anbari Reviewed by Dr. Hatem Saleh Al-Dhamn In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate Introduction Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and blessings and peace be upon the noblest of His creation, the trustworthy Prophet, and after that, this is a precious book on the writing of the Ottoman Mushaf, and it is the oldest book arranged according to the Quranic chapters, by Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn Al-Qasim Al-Anbari, who died in 328 AH. The book is small in size, great in meaning, rare in its field, and its value is known only to those who have studied it. Today, while we live in an era dominated by intellectual theft and scientific piracy, we see the names of people placed shamelessly and without any religious conscience on the covers of books that are not their work and have no relation to them. These publishing houses that distribute these books have taken on false Islamic façades, with the names of the Companions and the Tabi‘un, and Islam, the Companions, and the Tabi‘un are innocent of this. Consciences have died, rights have been oppressed, souls have been bought, modesty has been lost, scholars have been wronged, corruption has spread on the earth, and this is what the enemies of Islam seek. To Allah is the complaint, and to Him we shall return. 9 Sha‘ban 1428 AH 22 August 2007 Mutahim Saleh Al-Dhamn United Arab Emirates Sharjah
