Introduction by Sheikh Wahid
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and peace and blessings be upon Abdullah and His Messenger, Muhammad the Trustworthy, and upon his pure and good family.
I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
Afterwards, the Islamic nation will not attain its honor and glory except by following the guidance of its Prophet.
Indeed, the Sunnah is the way to salvation and the path of guidance.
Allah the Almighty said about His Prophet:
"And if you obey him, you will be guided" [An-Nur: 54].
And one of the signs of a servant’s love for Allah is following the Prophet and emulating his way.
Allah the Almighty said:
"Say, If you should love Allah, then follow me, so Allah will love you and forgive you your sins" [Aal Imran: 31].
I have read the message written by my brother in Islam, Muhammad Raghb Kurd, about the description of the Prophet’s ablution, and my brother in Islam, Alaa Abdul Ghani, has documented its hadiths.
I found it to be a beneficial and useful message, in which they sought out the authentic hadiths of the Prophet regarding the description of ablution, with references to the sayings of the Companions, the Tabi‘un, and the jurists on the matter.
Then, they preferred the most likely opinion with its proof.
This is a sound methodology and a straight path that will not be led astray by those who follow it.
May Allah reward them both well — two brothers following in the footsteps of the beloved Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him.
And may Allah make that weigh heavily in their scales and brighten their faces.
And peace and blessings be upon Muhammad, his family, and all his companions.
