Introduction
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
The evil of our deeds, all praise is due to Allah, we praise Him, seek His help, and ask His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and from the evil of whoever Allah guides, none can misguide him, and whoever He misguides, none can guide him. I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. Allah sent him before the Hour as a bearer of good news and a warner, to deliver the message, fulfill the trust, and strive in Allah’s cause with true effort until certainty came to him. May Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, and upon those who follow his guidance and emulate his Sunnah until the Day of Judgment.
To proceed:
Indeed, the book "Aqidah of the Salaf and the People of Hadith" is one of the best classified books in narrating the methodology of the Salaf. It encompasses all the beliefs in the fundamentals of the religion, establishing them with evidence from the Book and the Sunnah, and the sayings of the Salaf of the Ummah, with clear, strong expressions and a pure Salafi tone. It is like a "soap" that cleanses different hearts, removing the impurities of the people of desires and innovations, leaving them pure and bright.
The trial of the statement that Allah created the Qur'an, which weighed heavily on the shoulders of the Ummah, and through which the Imams were tested, from the year 218 AH, at the end of the Abbasid Caliphate of Al-Ma'mun, until the Caliphate of Al-Mutawakkil in 232 AH, had a significant impact on the activity of the Ahl al-Sunnah in documenting issues of Sunnah and creed, and in responding to the Jahmiyyah and the Mu'tazilah. Many works were authored in this field, exceeding one hundred, including: "The Message" on the creed of Ahl al-Sunnah, the People of Hadith, and the Imams.
It has been verified by Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al-Jad'ee and Badr bin Abdullah Al-Badr. Many researchers, including Nabil bin Sabiq Al-Subki, have also worked on it. May Allah reward them all well.
