Retribution and blood money in Islamic Sharia

This book is the summary of lectures given on the topic of (retribution and blood money in Islamic Sharia) in the subject of comparative jurisprudence, for master's students at Sana'a University. And the author, may Allah have mercy on him, saw fit to produce it as a book to introduce people to the rulings and principles brought by Islamic Sharia regarding assault on the soul and on what is less than the soul, meaning murder, wounds, and amputation of limbs, which these principles and rulings aim to eliminate this type of assault, or at least reduce it to a very small extent. And indeed, these Islamic rulings have proven effective, and they have never been reached by civil laws, neither in the past nor in the present, in any country where these laws have been applied.
