Introduction to the Women’s Section from the Prophetic Hadiths
In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate
Introduction
Praise be to Allah, the Owner of the Day of Judgment, and blessings and peace be upon the one whom Allah sent as a mercy and guidance to the worlds, and upon his family and companions, and those who follow them with goodness until the Day of Judgment.
To proceed:
Indeed, one of the greatest blessings of Allah Almighty upon His believing servants is that He sent them a noble, honorable messenger, who clarified for them the rulings of His religion and His law, guiding them on the path of those whom Allah has favored and pleased with. The Messenger of Allah is a good example for everyone who hopes for what is with Allah, as Allah the Most High said: “Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have a good example for whoever hopes in Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much” [Al-Ahzab: 21].
I have selected a number of the sayings of the chosen one, concerning women, related to some acts of worship — namely: purity, prayer, and funerals. I see that these are the most important matters women need. I arranged them according to the chapters of our Hanbali scholars in jurisprudence, and named it: “The Women’s Introduction from the Prophetic Hadiths.”
I requested from the noble Sheikh Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Shuhaym — may Allah grant him success — to authenticate and arrange them. He kindly approved, may Allah reward him, and refined, arranged, added to, and explained their unfamiliar parts. May Allah reward him with the best of rewards.
I ask Allah the Almighty to benefit everyone who reads, memorizes, and studies it. I also ask Him to grant us success in pleasing Him, following His Book, and the Sunnah of His Messenger, صلى الله عليه وسلم.
