The easiest way to memorize the Holy Quran and seek Islamic knowledge. MujaddadAbdulmohsen AlQassem. Whoever Allah chose for knowledge, he intended good for him, and it is a second life for the servant, in which he is rewarded while in his grave. The Prophet ﷺ said: "When a person dies, his deeds are cut off except from three: a continuous charity, or beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him." Narrated by Muslim. The predecessors understood the virtue of knowledge and eagerly sought it. Ibn Sirin, may Allah have mercy on him, said: "I reached in Kufa four thousand young men seeking knowledge." And due to some people's love for knowledge and their desire to show the easiest way to walk it, and to harvest its fruits, I compiled a book that a student of knowledge needs, which clarifies what he memorizes from texts, what they read from explanations, and what he increases in knowledge; and I adorned it with the biographies of scholars in seeking knowledge, to sharpen the ambitions and strengthen the resolve. I named it: "The Easiest Way to Memorize Texts and Seek Islamic Knowledge." It is divided into four chapters, each with sections, and each section with discussions, as follows: • First chapter: Knowledge; and it contains two sections: - First section: The importance of knowledge and its virtue. - Second section: Manners of the seeker of knowledge. • Second chapter: The Noble Quran; and it contains ten sections: - First section: The Noble Quran. - Second section: Learning the Noble Quran. - Third section: Perfect recitation. - Fourth section: Ease in reciting the Noble Quran. - Fifth section: Excessive effort in reciting the Noble Quran. - Sixth section: Types of excessive effort in reciting the Noble Quran. - Seventh section: Evidence against excessive effort. - Eighth section: The easiest way to memorize the Noble Quran. - Ninth section: The easiest way to review the Noble Quran. - Tenth section: The chain of narration in the Noble Quran. • Third chapter: Scientific texts; and it contains five sections: - First section: The importance of texts. - Second section: Texts that are memorized. - Third section: The easiest way to memorize texts. - Fourth section: The easiest way to review texts. - Fifth section: The chain of narration in books of Hadith and others. • Fourth chapter: Seeking Islamic knowledge; and it contains four sections: - First section: The motivation in seeking knowledge. - Second section: Explanations of texts. - Third section: Reading books. - Fourth section: A suggested daily program.
