Authorship on Ali Ibrahim Al-Nisiyal Introduction All praise be to Allah, we praise Him, seek His help, and ask for His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of ourselves and the wickedness of our deeds. Whomever Allah guides, none can misguide him, and whomever He misguides, none can guide him. I bear witness that there is no deity but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims. O mankind! Fear your Lord who created you from a single soul, and from it created its mate, and from them spread many men and women. And fear Allah, through whom you ask one another, and the wombs. Surely, Allah is ever Watchful over you [An-Nisa: 1]. O you who believe! Fear Allah and speak words that are straight and true. He will correct for you your deeds and forgive you your sins. And whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger has indeed achieved a great victory [Al-Ahzab: 70-71]. Indeed, the most truthful speech is the Book of Allah, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad. The worst affairs are the newly invented matters, and every innovation is misguidance, and every misguidance is in the Fire. As for what follows: Praise be to Allah, who established the pillars of religion, its signs, clarified its laws and rulings to creation, and sent His chosen and special friends—His prophets—to deliver His message, calling to His Tawhid and abandoning what opposes it, so that there be no argument against Allah after the messengers. He sealed the call with our Prophet Muhammad, the master of the messengers, and favored him over those before and after, making His Shariah supported until the Day of Judgment. He preserved the remembrance of what He revealed from the hidden Book; as Allah the Most High said: Indeed, We have sent down the Reminder, and indeed, We will preserve it [Al-Hijr: 9]. Nothing from distortion or alteration occurs in His Book, unlike what happened to the People of the Torah and the Gospel. The Shariah was entrusted to be preserved by the Companions and the Followers, who uphold the argument and dispel doubt through their statements. They are distinguished by their narration and chain of transmission, which differentiate truth from falsehood. The inheritors of this legacy are trustworthy scholars and righteous people from every generation. They deny the distortion of the extremists, the false claims of the false, and the misinterpretations of the ignorant, so that the blessing remains upon the nation, light emerges from darkness, and the religion of Allah is revived through them. They have borne narrations from the Prophet, peace be upon him, from generation to generation, following a methodology: they present their men, produce their sources, and provide evidence for what they say, their standards, their proofs. We ask Allah by His Almighty, to make this effort a source of goodness for me and my parents on the Day I stand before my Lord, and to benefit the Muslims.
