He contributed to its realization. Hytham Hazem Abdul-Hayrouh. The meanings in the interpretation of the Great Quran and the Seven Repeated Verses is an interpretation of the Quran by Abu Al-Tanā’ Al-Alusi. Al-Alusi's book is considered one of the important books of Tafsir, and his methodology involves searching for how to pronounce the words of the Holy Quran, their meanings, and their rulings, both individual and compound, along with the meanings they carry in the context of the composition, and additional matters such as knowledge of abrogation, the reason for revelation, stories that clarify ambiguous parts of the Quran, and so on. He finished writing the Tafsir in the year 1267 AH.
In the methodology, "Ruh Al-Ma’ani," Imam Al-Alusi poured his effort into producing a comprehensive book that includes the opinions of the Salaf, both narratively and intellectually, encompassing the sayings of the followers with honesty and care. It is a collection of the summaries of previous Tafsirs, and you will see him quoting from Tafsir Ibn Atiyah, Tafsir Abu Hayyan, Tafsir Al-Kashaf, Tafsir Abu Sa’ud, Tafsir Al-Baydawi, Tafsir Al-Fakhr Al-Razi, and other reputable Tafsir books.
When he quotes from Tafsir Abu Sa’ud, he often says: "Said Sheikh Al-Islam," and when he quotes from Tafsir Al-Baydawi, he says: "Said Al-Qadi," and when he quotes from Tafsir Al-Fakhr Al-Razi, he says: "Said the Imam." When he quotes from these Tafsirs, he positions himself as an impartial judge among them, making himself a meticulous critic, and then he freely expresses his opinion on what he transmits. He is not merely a transmitter but has a prominent scholarly personality and distinctive ideas. You will often see him objecting to what he transmits from Abu Sa’ud, or from Al-Baydawi, or from Abu Hayyan, or others, and there is nothing in his Tafsir that can be reproached.
You will also see him scrutinizing Al-Fakhr Al-Razi on many issues and responding to him, especially in some jurisprudential matters, in support of the Hanafi school of thought. Moreover, when he approves of something transmitted from others, he supports and favors them over others.
