The Sheikh حافظ أحمد حكميم, the introduction of the concerned, the statement of noble morals - and although it is of utmost importance - is a sufficient matter in purifying hearts and walking on the path that the All-Knowing, the All-Seeing desires. And this is a widespread flaw that must be noticed by the callers to Islam, and they should correct their الدعوة path; following and guided by the guidance of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم and his righteous companions and the righteous predecessors of the nation. God, if they want the light to return, and for goodness, happiness, and blessings to prevail. And what preceded from words about the importance of التوحيد, and clarifying the guided prophetic method in الدعوة to الله, is what we see as the blessed summary in this precious book that is in your hands - my beloveds -; as its author, Allah Almighty, mercy upon him, and grant him spacious gardens, the Glorious - may He have mercy on him and grant him His satisfaction and blessings -; worked to clarify the origin of the foundations of الدعوة to Allah, embodied in that great blessing and immense gift of التوحيد of Allah. And he followed in explaining this blessed أصل مسلك السؤال والجواب», which is a guided prophetic approach that our beloved and the delight of our eyes adopted in الدعوة to their Lord. He often posed questions to his companions to attract their attention, draw their hearts, and test what they had before giving answers to them. And indeed, the companions, by Allah, rejoiced greatly with such questions; because a person is always eager for knowledge and understanding. For knowledge is the noblest badge and the greatest fortress by which the servant is protected from Satan’s deception and persistent cunning, which seeks to draw him away from the path of success and happiness. Thus, the author, may Allah have mercy on him, worked to adopt this blessed approach in his book, presenting it smoothly and beautifully organized; and it was truly among the most beautiful and noble writings in the modern era in this blessed chapter - the chapter of التوحيد. And due to the preciousness of this book and its blessed value among scholars, I saw it fit to work on publishing it with some service - which I know well does not befit its status -; to present it to my fellow الدعاة as a form of cooperation in righteousness and piety, so they may explain, spread, and gift it to their fellow believers across the East and West; seeking to revive the prophetic methods of الدعوة to the توحيد of the Lord of all worlds in times of widespread fitan and various shirk practices, except among those whom Allah, the Lord of the worlds, has mercy upon us all. My humble work on this noble book is limited to the following: 1 - Reading the book carefully. 2 - I have punctuated the text with moderate tashkeel to help my brothers in reading smoothly; and as previously mentioned, the phrases of the book are close to accessible and far from complexity. 3 - I have moderately extracted the prophetic hadiths - as is my custom in my works - without any deficient abbreviation or boring prolongation. 4 - I clarified the ambiguous meanings in the book, which are not many. 5 - I included a translation of the author, may Allah have mercy on him, derived from the translation of his blessed son - may Allah preserve him and guide his steps - to introduce this science, which was among the signs of Allah in his time, and he died at the age of less than thirty-five, despite his blessed writings and his widespread fame among his contemporaries. Those are, therefore, the most important aspects of my work, asking Allah to open the hearts of believers to this edition, grant it - and my other works - acceptance, and make it a cause for His satisfaction with me, expiation of my sins, and to make us and you among the people of pure توحيد; those who purified their hearts and lives from shirk, small and big - so that His blessings, mercy, and رضوان may descend upon us in this world and the Hereafter. And whatever good and correctness is in this work is from the generosity and mercy of the Most Merciful of the merciful, and whatever contradicts that is from my own shortcomings, and it is not strange for the conditions of imperfect humans. Our last supplication is praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah’s peace, blessings, and salutations be upon our beloved and our Imam Muhammad, and upon his family, companions, and followers in righteousness until the Day of Judgment.
