This plate is specially designed for industrial sewing machines of the JUKI DDL-5550 model and other compatible models, and it is the perfect piece to achieve the highest levels of precision when working with lightweight and delicate fabrics. Made in China. The ideal solution for lightweight fabric sewing problems. Ultra-precise sewing: characterized by a very narrow needle opening (usually with a diameter of 1.6 mm), which is smaller than standard plates. This feature reduces the space where the fabric can be pushed into the machine. Puckering prevention: the narrow opening supports the edges of the fabric more around the needle entry point, significantly reducing puckering caused by thread tension. Ideal for delicate fabrics: essential for sewing materials that tend to loosen or slip, such as silk, chiffon, thin synthetic fabrics, or when using fine needles (#9 or #10).
