Product description
Indicators and properties
Description of Revée® Scar Gel for topical use to treat and prevent the formation of scars on freshly healed wounds, as well as to reduce prominent scars.
What is meant by Revée® Scar Gel?
It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic scars and keloids resulting from burns, surgical procedures, or trauma after the wound has fully healed and in the presence of unaffected or closed skin surface. It is also used for immature, reddened, raised scars during the active healing process.
What is Revée® Scar Gel?
It is a transparent, 100% medical-grade silicone gel. It is recommended for treating scars caused by surgeries, burns, and other injuries because it dries quickly and helps maintain proper skin hydration. It has been proven that medical silicone use smooths and softens scars and reduces pain, itching, and discomfort associated with them, as well as makes the redness of scar tissue less noticeable.
Revée® Scar Gel can be easily applied to all skin surfaces, including the face, chest, joints, and parts of the body subjected to movement. It dries quickly, forming a transparent layer, on which sunscreen can be applied without affecting its effectiveness.
Directions for use and warnings
How to use Revée® Scar Gel
Wash and dry the affected area, as Revée® Scar Gel should only be applied to clean, dry skin.
Carefully spread a small amount of gel on the scar without massaging the area. If a large amount of product is applied, use a cloth to gently remove it to prevent staining your clothes.
After Revée® Scar Gel dries, you can apply makeup, cosmetics, or sunscreen over it.
Use twice daily, in the morning and evening, for at least 2 to 3 months. For stubborn scars, continued treatment may be necessary.
When should Revée® Scar Gel not be used?
Revée® Scar Gel should not be applied to wounds or burns that have not fully healed.
It should not be applied to mucous membranes or near the eyes.
Revée® Scar Gel should not be used on skin being treated with other medical or topical products without consulting a doctor first.
It should not be used in cases of skin diseases without first consulting a doctor or pharmacist.
Are there any possible side effects of Revée® Scar Gel?
Rarely, the gel may cause redness, pain, or skin irritation.
In case of reactions, stop using it.
If you have any doubt about the side effects mentioned above or others, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
