Product description

Assura flange base for 50ml bag, two pieces with belt ears from Coloplast Assura 2 pieces are a mechanical coupling device with increased reassurance The bag is securely attached to the barrier by a mechanical coupling system. A audible "click" confirms that the bag is securely closed on the barrier. Before fixing the bag in place, it can be rotated to the desired position to fit your body position (standing, lying down, emptying) without removing the bag from the barrier. The mechanical coupling device can also be repositioned to facilitate handling whether you are left-handed or right-handed. The bag can be removed separately from the adhesive spiral barrier, allowing more frequent bag changes than the adhesive barrier. Assura two-piece devices are available with standard or extended adhesive barriers. The full set of barriers includes flat, convex, and pre-cut (already cut according to size) or "cut to fit" (meaning they can be trimmed for a custom fit). They are combined with drainable, closed, or urinary stoma bags, as well as a range of special solutions including night drainage bags, minicap, and more. The full line includes transparent and opaque bags, compatible with Assura AC and SenSura Flex barriers based on color-coded coupling systems. Therefore, the barrier with a "red" coupling size should match a "red" bag. Spiral adhesive, for safety and skin comfort The Assura spiral adhesive is a combination of materials designed for security and protection in a spiral structure, to: Secure adhesion to the skin Absorb moisture from your skin — providing comfort and protecting against irritation Extend the wear time of the Assura adhesive, offering additional protection against aggressive outputs. It is especially suitable for people with urinary stomas, which tend to have more aggressive outputs that can break standard adhesives more quickly. Convex, for difficult-to-manage openings Assura two-piece barriers are available with two different levels of convexity, designed to accommodate difficult-to-manage stomas: for example, a leaking or retracted stoma or one located in a skin fold. It applies gentle pressure to the skin to reduce leakage risk by allowing the stoma to protrude. Light convex: Solution for slightly retracted or retracted stomas, providing extra security through light and precise pressure on the abdomen. Convex: Solution for retracted stomas, deep skin folds, and scars, providing extra security through moderate to high pressure on the abdomen.
