Self-supporting protective barrier with varying thickness, highly flexible, with decreasing thickness from the center to the edges. Water-based FlexWear hydrogel, with high resistance for longer lifespan in use, resistant to corrosion, maintains its shape even in the presence of fluids, and ensures maximum protection in the peristomal area. Hollister synthetic adhesive on the sides, easy to apply, ensures instant adhesion, and improves safety during use. Transparent protective layer with a tab and cut guide, to facilitate inspection, preparation, and application of the water-based hydrogel. Floating edge (Hollister Incorporated patent) with Center Point Lock coupling mechanism, designed to allow painless application without pressing on the abdomen, making the bag system less rigid and more comfortable. Very thin, allowing maximum freedom of movement. The "click" that confirms the closure of the coupling mechanism ensures absolute safety. The plate consists of the following parts: - Water-based FlexWear hydrogel in PIB, CMC, pectin, and fine fibers; - PE flange with Sarankx support (floating); - Protective film; - Hollister synthetic adhesive; - Polymer water-based hydrogel support layer.
